On Windows - Using Command Prompt:

Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
Type cmd and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:
wmic bios get serialnumber
The output will display your computer's Serial Number.

On macOS - Using Terminal:

Open the Terminal application (you can find it in the Utilities folder within the Applications folder).
In the Terminal, type the following command and press Enter:
system_profiler SPHardwareDataType | grep "Serial Number (system)"
The output will display your computer's Serial Number.

Network Name of your laptop

On Windows:

Using System Properties:
- Press Windows + X to open the Power User menu and select "System".
- Under "Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings" you'll find your computer name.
Using Command Prompt:
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type cmd and press Enter, then type:
  hostname

On macOS:

Using System Preferences:
- Apple menu → System Preferences → Sharing. Your computer's name is shown at the top.
Using Terminal:
- Type: scutil --get ComputerName
